Arturo Lini
was born in Volterra in 1948, one of the most charming medieval Italian
cities. Later the family moved in Versilia, where he lives until the mid-seventies
when he moved to Florence in the historic district of Santa Croce.
He graduated
from the Institute Paladini of Lucca, and later qualified as designer
at the School Academy in Rome.
Right from the beginning in love with the poetic word he published books
of poems, taking part in the search of visual poetry. His poetry has been
hosted on several anthologies and Italian literary magazines such Paragone,
Tracce, Il Foglio Clandestino, Il Grandevetro.
As time goes
by Lini continued with the tools of painting those first interests, giving
life to works composed of words, colors, and primitive pictographic signs
in a very personal style. He has participated in many exhibitions and
art events, always placing the poetic word in the middle of his presence.
In 2003 he created Poesianet.it, portal dedicated to digital poetry, where
he presents multimedia compositions. He lives in Stiava in the countryside
around Viareggio, in Tuscany.
